Jaguar supports standard Perseus attenuation
function. The current attenuation level is shown on STATUSBAR
and on INFOBOX (key = I)
In ARCHIVE mode the value is taken from the archive file header showing the
attenuation level used during recording.
HOW TO
KEY = ALT-P
You can rotate the attenuation level of the Perseus hardware by pressing ALT-P
continuously: 0 (default, no attenuation) > 1 (-10 dB) > 2 (-20 dB) >
3 (-30 dB). The last used attenuation level is remembered at the next Jaguar
restart.
You can define different attenuation levels for scheduled daytime and nighttime
recordings as in the example below (see more info for "Example 3: Custom
top-of-the-hour" in MESTOR help):
[MESTOR]
SET ATT 1
21:54 (15)
22:54 (15)
23:54 (15)
00:54 (15)
01:54 (15)
SET ATT 0
02:52 SUNRISE (200)
Here the overnight recordings will use the attenuation (ATT) level 1 (-10 dB)
but, in the morning, the attenuation level will be 0 (zero = no
attenuation).
