CUSTOM FREQS

JAGUAR PRO ONLY

CUSTOM FREQS (or customised filters on frequencies) is a way to support an optimal filter / SSB mode / bandwidth / offset / STEEP ("POWER") on/off, independently for each frequency.

The saved CUSTOM FREQS settings will be deployed automatically when you tune in to a frequency where custom-made filter settings can be found.

The settings are saved to the CUSTOMFREQS file in the JAGUAR folder, and this file can be transferred between computers.

HOW TO

Ticking TOOLBAR > SETTINGS > PREFERENCES > CUSTOM FREQS enables the support for frequency-based filter setting (disabled by default).

CUSTOM FREQS settings can be saved/changed/deleted using the FILTER APPLET (general information can be found in APPLETS help). If CUSTOM FREQS is enabled, you'll see the CUSTOM button on the applet. By default the color of the button is black, meaning that you have not saved yet any CUSTOM FREQS settings for the currently-played frequency.

After you have found the optimal filter / SSB mode / BW / OFFSET / STEEP settings, you can save those settings clicking on the CUSTOM button and your current settings will be saved. If any frequency has customised filter settings, the color of that CUSTOM button is red.

If you want to clear temporarily all your customisationz for the current frequency, move the mouse cursor over the BW (on the bottom of the applet) and you'll see the RESET button. Click RESET to restore the default settings for this filter (note that the CUSTOM FREQS settings will remain untouched).

If you want to change your permanent CUSTOM FREQS settings, you can adjust any setting and override the existing saved settings by clicking that CUSTOM button again.

If you want to delete your customisations for the current frequency, right-click on the CUSTOM button and the black button color is restored (= "No CUSTOM FREQS available for this frequency").
