DATABASE BAR is hidden by default but easily accessible by clicking the SLIDER button on SLIDER. DATABASE BAR can be used for controlling the target continent (also for MAPS) and stations to be listed on the text area below DATABASE BAR (and on MAPS). By default all stations ("WORLD") are shown for the selected frequency using the TURTLE station database.

DATABASE BAR contains the following buttons:

• CONTINENT buttons for the quick selection of the target area for stations to be listed

• DATABASE selection buttons (when the mouse cursor is moved to the center of the bar)

• DATABASE FILTER buttons









HOW TO

Click SLIDER button (or press keyboard key T for full TEXTSCREEN) to get DATABASE BAR visible.

Continent can be selected clicking the corresponding button - "WORLD" can be used to select all the stations from all the continents.

When the mouse cursor is moved to the center area, you'll see TURTLE and TOMCAT buttons. These can be used to select either the station database (see TURTLE help for more details) or the logging database (see TOMCAT for more details)

DATABASE FILTER buttons can be used for further restriction of the stations listed/shown on the list/MAPS. This section describes the DATABASE FILTERS available for TURTLE (see TOMCAT help for description of the filters available in TOMCAT database)

The yellow buttons on the row "SHOW (ALL) FROM (AREA) ON (FREQ) INCLUDE (ALL)" are the filter buttons. In Jaguar V5 the (AREA) and (FREQ) buttons for TURTLE are fixed and can't be changed, but you can move mouse cursor over either of the remaining (ALL) buttons and click or scroll (using mouse wheel or left/right arrow keys) to rotate the allowed values:

• SHOW (ALL) stations > SHOW (TAGGED) stations for all continents - see P-TAGS help for more information. In addition, if NA (North America) continent has been selected, the rotation includes SHOW (W***) = show stations with the call sign beginning with W and SHOW (K***) = show stations with the call sign beginning with K.

• INCLUDE (ALL) stations > INCLUDE (100W+) = show stations with tx power 100W or more > INCLUDE (1kW+) = show stations with tx power 1kW or more > INCLUDE (5kW+) = show stations with tx power 5kW or more > INCLUDE (10kW+) = show stations with tx power 10kW or more.

Individual filter can be cleared by clicking the black button next to it, all filters can be cleared by clicking the black "SHOW"-button.

In the future versions there will be more DATABASE FILTERS.

You can make DATABASE BAR permanently visible (even if SLIDER window is closed) by ticking TOOLBAR > SETTINGS > GRAPHICS+ > FAT TOP.
