JAGUAR has a wide selection of different type of FILTERS and these can be tuned with several tools. However in JAGUAR LITE user has only one fixed filter (STOCK) available.

JAGUAR PRO filter set contains the following filters

* STOCK

* CALLIOPE

* JAZZ

* AM MODE

The last one is not actually a filter (but a different demodulation mode, the filter itself uses JAZZ filter processing), but it is handy to have AM MODE as "one of the filters" when trying to find the optimal audio output in each case.

Each filter can be used in NORMAL or in STEEP mode. In STEEP mode an additional filter is added to the end of the filter chain.

STOCK filter bandwidth / offset can not be tuned, STOCK is a fixed "reference filter".



HOW TO

KEY = F (JAGUAR PRO only)

Filters can be rotated with keyboard key F but desired filter can be selected also by

* clicking/scrolling AUDIOBAR > FILTER name
* clicking the filter name in FILTER APPLET
* selecting the filter from TOP MENU > FILTERS

Filter characteristics can be changed

* using AUDIOBAR ( STEEP / BW / OFFSET / PRESETS )
* using AUDIO WINDOW
* using CUSTOMFREQS

Jaguar filtering is implemented in "time domain" using 100ms slices at a time (0.1 sec thus being the smallest operational "audio unit" in Jaguar).
