INFOBOX
The INFOBOX is shown always after a new
install, or a full reset, or every time when the I (info) key is pressed.
The title shows JAGUAR’s build date, version and level (PRO or LITE).
Furthermore, there are several informative lines described below in detail. The
user can study/change his/her setup/environment by clicking on the
corresponding button on the right.
• CONNECTION: the timestamp showing when the hardware connection was
created.
• FILE POOL: the number of files in the file pool and their service
status. Certain JAGUAR functions require the use of the JAGUAR file name
format. If all the files in the file pool have the correct format, the message
"All services available" will be displayed.
• FILE NAME: the name of the currently-playing file.
• FILE INFO: the date, sampling rate, centre frequency, attenuation level,
and length of the currently- playing file.
• STATUS: the playback mode (LIVE or ARCHIVE) and the recording
status.
• DATABASE: the currently-active station database.
• SET NAME: the currently-active MESTOR plan name, sampling rate and
centre frequency (for new recordings).
• SET QTH: the currently-active QTH (location) with the sunrise and sunset
time (in UTC) on the playback date.
• SET DISK: the primary and overflow hard disk details. A star on the
ACTIVE button indicates which disk is currently active. Clicking on the ACTIVE
button toggles the primary and overflow disks for recordings.
• SETTINGS: Your JAGUAR key for this PC and the SETTINGS button. Whenever
you want upgrade Jaguar from Lite level to Pro level, you must copy the 8-digit
key shown after "KEY", and send it to the JAGUAR support team.
HOW TO
KEY = I
You can open/close INFOBOX by pressing I key or clicking TOOLBAR > INFO >
INFOBOX.
The gray buttons on the right edge of INFOBOX can be used for the
following:
• CONNECTION - LIVE: Connect to LIVE (or jump from ARCHIVE to LIVE).
• FILE POOL - OPEN: Open a new ARCHIVE file for playback.
• FILE NAME - MORE: Show YAS.LOG file read and write status.
• FILE INFO - MORE: Show the exact file size in ARCHIVE mode ("Writing in
progress" is shown in LIVE mode).
• STATUS - MORE: The hardware offset for the currently-active frequency.
The offset is available only after calibration. Next click will show the status
of YASLOG system (the number of YASLOG write failures).
• DATABASE - CHANGE: Change TURTLE database version.
• SET NAME - Open MESTOR textpad for changes.
• SET QTH - The same as above.
• SET DISK - The same as above.
• SETTINGS - EXIT: Close INFOBOX.
