LOGBOX
JAGUAR PRO ONLY
LOGBOX window is a toolbox for making loggings and offset loggings.
HOW TO
LOGBOX window can be opened in three ways:
• Clicking the desired station on MAPS
• Clicking the desired station on TURTLE
• Typing .CALL (=call sign preceded by dot) and pressing ENTER (available
only for US/CAN/MEX stations)
You can send a standard logging to several places (=text file, DAYLOG, MWLI,
CATBOOK) with one submit. Before sending your logging, you must define these
targets; click the menu next to "SEND LOGGING TO" and tick the desired
targets:
• FILE (standard text file, LOG.CSV)
• DAYLOG (see DAYLOG help for more info)
• MWLI (available if you have actived the MWLI interface, see MWLI help
for more info)
• CATBOOK (always enabled)
After you have made your selections (they are remembered when making the next
logging, so you need to do the selection only once), you can click SUBMIT.
Jaguar asks for confirmation and if accepted, the logging is sent to selected
targets.
...
Offset logging is a similar process: you can send an offset logging to text
file, MWLI and CATBOOK with one single submit. Before sending your offset
logging, you must define the desired targets. Clicking the (LOGGING) button you
can toggle it between (LOGGING) and (OFFSET). When you have ( OFFSET ) active
on that button, click the menu next to "SEND OFFSET TO" and tick the desired
targets:
• FILE (standard text file, OFFSET.LOG)
• MWLI (available if you have actived the MWLI interface, see MWLI help
for more info)
• CATBOOK (always enabled)
After you have made your selections (they are remembered when making the next
offset logging, so you need to do the selection only once), you can click
SUBMIT. Jaguar asks for confirmation and if accepted, the offset logging is
sent to selected targets.
...
"LATEST LOGGINGS OF ..." window will be used in the future, in Jaguar V5 the
LOGBOX has only this placeholder already implemented.
After logging / offset logging has been submitted, the system updates CATBOOK
automatically as follows:
• Station row is created to CATBOOK if it does not exist there yet
• If the P-TAG of the station is P0, it is updated to P4 (blue) or to the
user-defined P-TAG value (see P-TAGS help)
• Station is marked as "logged in the year 20**" within the year
buttons
Note: if you just want to make a logging to DAYLOG, there is a faster way for
it: select DAYLOGGER in STATION MENU. Or if you just want to log "my own
offset", select FLAGGER in STATION MENU. See STATION MENU help for more
details.
