SCREENSHOT
Jaguar contains an easy tool for taking
screenshots - either for fullscreen or user-defined areas. Screenshot is saved
to your Jaguar folder in GIF format, GIF images offer an excellent
compression/quality ratio. The screenshot files are named as SCREENSHOT
YYYY-MM-DD HH'MM'SS.GIF.
JAGAUAR PRO users can also include user-defined labels (STICKERS) to the
screenshot before saving it, see STICKERS help for more information.
Jaguar's SCREENSHOT (or the screenshot with STICKERS) format is the recommended
format when using attachments in bug reports etc due to the small size: full
screenshot normally takes only abt 200-300kB.
HOW TO
KEY = ALT-S
When you press ALT-S, Jaguar freezes the normal display operations until the
SCREENSHOT function is finished. If you now press ENTER, Jaguar creates a
fullscreen SCREENSHOT and returns back to normal operation mode.
If you want a partial user-defined SCREENSHOT, don't press ENTER immediately
after ALT-S. Instead move your mouse around, and you'll see a red-white square
which can be used to define the screenshot area. A mouse left-click can be used
to re-position the corner of this area, and when ready, press ENTER to take the
screenshot.
A mouse right-click will cancel/quit SCREENSHOT function without taking the
screenshot.
