SETUP.INI is an important system file in Jaguar instance. It contains all user settings defined during Jaguar run-time, these settings include data collected from TOOLBAR > SETTINGS and other TOOLBAR services, APPLETS, SLIDER, AUDIOBAR etc.

SETUP.INI can be found in the Jaguar installation folder.



In standard Windows applications these settings would be saved in the Windows registry, but because Jaguar belongs to the category of "portable applications", INI file is used instead of the registry.

HOW TO

User should not modify SETUP.INI contents manually. Jaguar creates that file automatically during the first Jaguar session and maintains it whenever changes are made in the environment.

RESET (more information in RESET help) will delete SETUP.INI provided that user gives permission for it. In that case user's settings are lost and "factory settings" are deployed at the next restart.

User can also delete SETUP.INI manually if needed to solve some specific issue.
