SIXPACK
JAGUAR PRO ONLY
With SIXPACK, the user can control any six frequencies simultaneously in six
separate windows. Originally this was designed for graveyard channel control (=
1230, 1240, 1340, 1400, 1450 and 1490) but the frequencies in SIXPACK can be
any MW frequency and they can also be changed dynamically.
By default SIXPACK uses the first six frequencies listed in user's default VFO
in MESTOR (see MESTOR help for details).
However, always when you activate SIXPACK, your current playback frequency will
always join the sixpack party, so the playback frequency on PLAYBAR will never
change when you activate SIXPACK. The current frequency will always replace the
previous frequency in 5th box (located in the center window of the 2nd
row).
SIXPACK can be used for example as a tool for monitoring when cx is raising on
a DXpedition - no need to scroll frequencies for that.
HOW TO
KEY = S (Not default)
If you use SIXPACK often, you may define keyboard key S to open and close it.
By default pressing S key opens / closes SCOPE, but you may override that by
adding S=SIXPACK to custom:
[CUSTOM]
S=SIXPACK
The standard way of opening / closing SIXPACK is to click TOOLBAR > SIXPACK
icon. You can return from SIXPACK also by pressing W key (WALLPAPER) or
clicking one of the stepping selection icons (9 / 10) on TOOLBAR.
In SIXPACK the frequency scroll functions (= mouse wheel and left/right arrow
keys) rotate those six active frequencies - currently active frequency box is
highlighted as red and the current exact frequency is marked with a red line.
You can also select any exact frequency as the new playback frequency directly
by clicking on any of the boxes.
You can replace any SIXPACK frequency by moving mouse cursor over the selected
box, typing in the new frequency and pressing ENTER. Jaguar remembers the last
used SIXPACK frequencies at the next restart.
You can zoom the size of the spectrum area shown in boxes keeping mouse cursor
over any box and scrolling with the mouse wheel.
You can also use APPLETS, SCOPE and split screen (ie. partially opened TURTLE)
during SIXPACK operation.
