TEXTPADS are separate independent text editing windows for processing textual data.

Jaguar contains builtin TEXTPAD support for the following files:

• LOG.CSV (see LOGGING help for more details)
• OFFSET.LOG (see OFFSETS help for more details)
• MSG.TXT (see MSG BAR help for more details)
• UFO.TXT (see UFO help for more details)
• LIFESAVER.LOG (see LIFESAVER for more details)

In addition TOP MENU > LOGS contains an extra TEXTPAD entry for JIXHISTORY.LOG file.

HOW TO



Default TEXTPAD (LOG.CSV = local log) can be opened/closed by clicking TOOLBAR > TEXTPADS icon. Any TEXTPAD can be opened by right clicking TOOLBAR > TEXTPADS and selecting the desired TEXTPAD from the popup menu or using TOP MENU > LOGS.



TEXTPAD window contains some tools on the menu bar:

• NEXT: Standard TEXTPADs can be rotated clicking NEXT

• FIND: Triggers a simple search tool for finding desired string from the text

• + and -: Text size can be inceased / decreased by clicking these buttons

• SAVE: You can use the TEXTPAD for editing, and then SAVE the changes

TEXTPAD can be re-positioned and resized in standard ways, and the settings will be remembered at the next JAGUAR restart.
