JAGUAR SDR software for the Microtelecom Perseus receiver has been the leading edge technology in MW DXing since it was published in 2012. It has been developed with the support of the MW DX community and today it is incredibly rich in features but still "slim and agile" (the size of the executable is way below 500kB).
JAGUAR V12 is the latest diamond in our development process and the credits for this belong to all who have given their feedback in the "Cougar" development group.

JAGUAR V12 supports three user levels:
- LITE: Entry level for new users with access to the basic features only, can be used for studying if JAGUAR is a useful tool for your needs - PRO: For experienced MW DXers (or for those who want to become such), all the advanced JAGUAR features are available - CUSTOM: For those who want to squeeze out everything out of JAGUAR PRO and/or tailor the GUI to fully match their needsThe LITE level is a limited "Starter Edition". It can be used for recording and playback, not much for anything else. But if you like the way JAGUAR LITE works, you will love JAGUAR PRO.
The PRO level is available for all registered JAGUAR users and PRO does not require any changes to the application except adding a small registration file (JAGUARKEY.dat) to the installation folder. Thus when jumping from LITE to PRO, you don't have to configure anything.
However, most users want to go further, customize the GUI and features, make loggings to file/MWLI, etc. and that's when the CUSTOM level steps in. The CUSTOM link on the bottom of the index describes everything you need to know about the JAGUAR customization.This GUIDE describes the main parts, functions and services of JAGUAR V12. There are no separate JAGUAR LITE and JAGUAR PRO guides, but if the function/service is not available in the JAGUAR LITE mode, it is clearly informed in that specific description.
If you are new to JAGUAR, the quickest way to evaluate JAGUAR LITE is simply to download and unzip the latest JAGUAR full package from the DOWNLOAD section, start JAGUAR.exe and play with it to see if it meets your DX preferences. Note that while you can play old standard pre-recorded Perseus files with JAGUAR, you can't get the benefits of JAGUAR if the files are not recorded by JAGUAR itself.
