SIXPACK

JAGUAR PRO ONLY

SIXPACK allows you to control any six frequencies simultaneously in six separate windows. Originally, this was designed for monitoring graveyard channels (= 1230, 1240, 1340, 1400, 1450 and 1490 kHz) but the frequencies in SIXPACK can be any MW frequencies, and they can also be changed dynamically.

By default, SIXPACK uses the first six frequencies listed in your default VFO in MESTOR (see MESTOR for details). However, always when you activate SIXPACK, your current playback frequency will always be one of the SIXPACK frequency panels, so the playback frequency on PLAYBAR will never change when you activate SIXPACK. The current frequency will always replace the previous frequency in the fifth box (located in the center window of the second row).

SIXPACK can be used, for example, as a tool for monitoring when conditions are improving on a DXpedition; no need to scroll frequencies for that.

HOW TO

The standard way of opening/closing SIXPACK is to click the TOOLBAR > SIXPACK icon. You can return from SIXPACK also by pressing the W key (WALLPAPER), or clicking one of the stepping selection icons (9 / 10) on TOOLBAR.

In SIXPACK, the frequency scroll functions (= the mouse wheel and left/right arrow keys) rotate the six active frequencies; the panel of the currently-active frequency is highlighted as red, and the current exact frequency is marked with a red line. You can also select any exact frequency as the new playback frequency directly by clicking on any of the six frequency panels.

You can replace any SIXPACK frequency by moving the mouse over the selected panel, entering a new frequency and pressing ENTER. JAGUAR remembers the last used SIXPACK frequencies at the next restart.

You can zoom the size of the spectrum area shown in the panels by keeping the mouse over the panel and scrolling with the mouse wheel.

You can also use APPLETS, SCOPE and the split screen (ie. partially opened TURTLE) while using SIXPACK.
