A brief summary of each toolbar function is presented above, more details can be found in the item-specific HELP sections. The multi-purpose "USA button" is described below.
The "USA button" can be used for a quick jump to apply "North America DX-settings": the frequency, continent and map are switched to NA (if not yet already). When this is done (or you already have North America as your DX target), JAGUAR shows "Star Spangled Banner" (three stars) instead of the "USA" text when the mouse is over this button. By default, the stars are black.
Each of the stars can be clicked on to control the following things:
STAR 1: Pattern control. This is the same as pressing ALT-N (see PATTERNS for more details). Clicking this rotates the pattern map modes as follows:
"ALL PATTERNS (DAY)" - RED star > "ALL PATTERNS (NIGHT)" - RED star >
"SHOW PATTERN (DAY)" - GREEN star > "SHOW PATTERN (NIGHT)" - GREEN star
> "PATTERNS OFF" - BLACK star
When the "SHOW PATTERN" mode is selected, the pattern is shown for the selected station when you move mouse cursor over the station star. You can toggle the DAY <> NIGHT patterns by right-clicking on this star.
